Chargers turn down Owens
The San Diego Chargers have turned down the idea of wide receiver Terrell Owens joining their team.
The Chargers became a possible fit with wideout Vincent Jackson suspended for the first three weeks of the season.
Owens and his agent have been getting a lot more proactive about finding the wideout a team in recent days.
Drew Rosenhaus claims that his client has seen a large increase in interest and that one team is being aggressive.
Whether any of that is true or not is anybody’s guess, but Owens certainly still thinks he can play at a high level.
